Although few would say that the Crown of the World is welcoming, the PCs have no choice but to venture through this icy frontier if they want to bring Ameiko to Minkai. As they fight their way through the vile beasts that inhabit the arctic wasteland, the heroes must unravel the mystery of the supernatural blizzards that have been ravaging the polar cap, and ultimately confront the dark and otherworldly force responsible for these treacherous storms. Will the adventurers survive the dangers of the Crown of the World long enough to remedy the curse that weighs upon it? Or will they succumb to the icy wastelands, like so many others?
